Local School Leadership Council
The LSLC Council of Mt. Washington Elementary School shall carry out the following duties:
· Determine the topics and scheduling of Professional Development activities.
· Determine and schedule all school events and activities.
· Develop guidelines for the use of school equipment, including the copy machine.
· Determine the expenditures from the Instructional Material (IMA) Account 3027.
· Determine other local budgetary matters listed in Article XXVII, Section 2.4 of the UTLA-LAUSD
contract.
· Carry out all other duties assigned to the LSLC in accordance with Article XXVII of the
UTLA-LAUSD contract.

The LSLC Council shall be composed of 12 members selected by their peers, as follows:
6 UTLA bargaining unit members (Certificated)
1 Other school staff members (Classified)
4 Parents and/or community members
1 Administrator

Meetings
The LSLC normally meets monthly, on Thursday at 2:45pm in Zoom. Meetings are led by the Mr. Morris and/or Ms. Fowler.
